Will Pence Obey THIS?!

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – In a tremendous new test for the relations between Donald Trump and Mike Pence, which has been severely strained since January 6, 2021, the former vice president has been called up to testify against his former boss in the latter’s trial for alleged subversion of the 2020 election in Georgia.

Mike Pence has been officially included in a list of witnesses who may be asked to testify in Trump’s upcoming Georgia trial on charges related to election interference, CNN reports, as cited by The New York Post.

According to multiple sources familiar with the sealed documents, Pence is one of 150 individuals on a witness list prepared by Fulton County prosecutors.

The former vice president, who recently withdrew from the 2024 Republican presidential race, has previously indicated a readiness to testify.

He has notably been one of the most vocal former allies of Trump to dispute the latter’s claims of voter fraud in the 2020 election, the Post notes.

“Despite what the former president and his allies have said for now more than two and a half years and continue to insist … the Georgia election was not stolen, and I had no right to overturn the election on Jan. 6,” Pence asserted at the National Conference of State Legislatures, following Trump’s 13-count indictment in August.

“I have no plans to testify, but look, we’ll always comply with the law,” he has told CNN.

Additionally, in a conversation with CBS News, Pence stated, “We’ll respond to the call of the law if it comes and we’ll just tell the truth.”

Trump faces charges in Georgia that include violating anti-racketeering laws, conspiracy, filing false documents, making false statements, and soliciting a public official to violate their oath of office. Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Steve Sadow, Trump’s lead counsel in a federal election interference case, had indicated that he believed the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office might call Pence as a witness.

Sadow revealed this as he sought access to documents and materials from special counsel Jack Smith, which could be pertinent to the state case.

He argued in court that the federal case against Trump closely parallels the Fulton County case.

Sadow mentioned notes Pence took following the 2020 presidential election as potentially relevant.

Meanwhile, District Attorney Fani Willis proposed August 5 as the trial date, which falls three months before the 2024 presidential election.
