(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – Highlighting that influential Republicans are doing their best to support and advise former President Donald Trump in his bid to regain the presidency in this year’s elections, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) is hopeful that Trump will deliver speeches in major cities to appeal to members of Biden’s base.

Gingrich responded to Fox News host Sean Hannity’s remark about Biden losing supporters “in massive numbers,” seeing an “opportunity” for Trump to engage with them.
When Gingrich was asked how Trump could reach out, he suggested that Trump go to big cities to present his ideas.
“Well, this may surprise you, I think that the country wants ideas more than anger. I think that the country wants to see a presidential candidate in the big cities,” he said.
The former lawmaker added, “I hope that Trump will plan for seven or eight or nine speeches from Philadelphia to Baltimore, to New York, to Boston, to Chicago, to San Francisco.”
However, many major U.S. cities are Democratic-leaning, and Gingrich proposed Trump could gain votes in some of them. He mentioned that San Francisco’s support for welfare drug testing is an example of potential shifts.
“And I think there’s a country out there that would love to have a presidential candidate who is unifying, visionary, when he ought to ally himself for example, with Elon Musk, and lay out a space program for the next decade that would inspire every young American to believe they had a great dynamic future,” he said.
He also advised Trump could appeal to young voters, Black voters, Latino Americans, and Asian Americans if he is “positive and aggressive” and goes “everywhere.”
According to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ national polling average, Trump is leading Biden by 1 % point with 44.5 % of support.
