Nikki’s Voters Exposed

(ReclaimingAmerica.net) – In the New Hampshire primary, a “surprising” fact emerged from a CNN exit poll: about 70% of those who supported former Ambassador Nikki Haley were not registered Republicans.

This is very different from former President Donald Trump’s supporter base, where a solid 70% were registered Republicans, as reported by CNN’s David Chalian.

The primary saw Trump get a significant victory, following his record-breaking win in the Iowa caucuses on January 15. He led the New Hampshire race by approximately nine points, as per The Associated Press.

Chalian’s analysis of voter demographics revealed a stark difference between Trump and Haley’s supporters. While 27% of Trump’s voters were registered as undeclared or independents and a mere 3% were unregistered before the primary, Haley’s voter base was almost the mirror image. About 70% of her supporters were registered as undeclared, with only 27% being registered Republicans.

In the current state of politics in the US, Trump’s lead was evident.

According to RealClearPolitics’ average of polls from January 16 to January 22, Trump was ahead of Haley by 19.3% in the New Hampshire primary. Nationally, Trump also maintained a substantial lead in the polls, with 66.1% of the vote compared to Haley’s 11.5%. Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida, who exited the race on Sunday, was in third place with 10.5%.

Chalian also commented on a different aspect of the exit poll results, focusing on the perceptions of Trump and Haley voters regarding the legitimacy of Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election.

He noted that a significant 80% of Trump supporters rejected the idea of Biden’s legitimate win, while 83% of Haley supporters acknowledged it. This stark difference highlighted the contrasting views within the Republican voter base.

Chalian summed up the situation with a curious phrase, describing the New Hampshire primary as the “Trump/Haley, Mars/Venus election.”
